Corporate governance is a set of principles by which an organisation is managed, or the culture behind an organization. It can influence everything from how tasks are carried out to the management of employment policies. An emerging challenge for executives is how to manage a company's policies within an often-complex web of stakeholders, which can include a board of directors, employees, and shareholders and even the people they serve. In recent time corporate governance has received a lot of attention, including how it may influence ethics and integrity issues on a high level.
This course prepares delegates to cultivate modern policies and practices in their departments or areas of responsibility. Delegates will discuss, analyse and evaluate key elements of modern governance using interactive techniques and case studies from across Continents beyond Africa.
